(almost private meeting, only Paolo, Frederic and myself present)

configuration DB == configuration file, 
 takes TurboDAQ subdirectory-tree PLUS configuration for ROD/BOC
 and puts everything into a single ROOT file.

Two tools exist for generating this ROOT-conf-file:
 1) line tool, needs all TurboDAQ config files as arguments,
    should be sufficient for link scan (same configuration used anyway
    for all modules).
    Maybe a working config file is in CVS already.
 2) STcontrol => much easier!
    Can browse (TurboDAQ) config files there; better for preparing a
    Root file for a complete stave.

Paolo will make a comparison of power consumption after configuration
with TurboDAQ and ROD (which give different, i.e. 700 % 1000mA values
for me with the very rudimentary tool that I'm presently using.)
